He will always be glad to speak with those who are confronted with problems of a spiritual nature. The time before worship is a quiet time for prayer and meditation to prepare for worship. By the Voluntary Poverty of Christ, We Enter the Kingdom of God

 To love and trust in earthly wealth is vanity. For nothing of this earth will last forever, nor can any of it grant eternal life (Eccl. 5:10). But the one who trusts in God is “occupied with joy in his heart” and is able to sleep in peace, “whether he eats little or much,” because he knows that the “days of his life” are “the gift of God” (Eccl. 5:12, 18–20). The person who trusts in riches cannot sleep, because he “shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand” (Eccl. 5:15). Therefore, it is difficult “for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God” (Mark 20:23). Indeed, it is impossible for man, yet “all things are possible with God” (Mark 20:27). Thus, the Rich Man, Jesus Christ, has made Himself poor and has gone through “the eye of a needle,” through death and the grave, “to enter the kingdom of God” on our behalf (Mark 20:24–25). He is the “great high priest who has passed through the heavens” (Heb. 4:14), so that we may now enter His Sabbath rest by faith in His forgiveness (Heb. 4:3–9).

MEMORY CHRISTMAS TREE:  

We will be continuing with our memory tree again this year, in the front entrance.  Once the Tree is setup; Please bring in an ornament or you can use our ornaments to put the name and year passing of a loved one. All last years will be put back on the Tree on Wednesday November 20th @ 11:00 am; (weather permitting) volunteers to help contact Office; Bring a small serving to share in fellowship afterward for lunch. QUILTING: Every Tuesday @9:30 am. All are welcome, no experience necessary, we do tie quilting. Come and try it out. Blessings

To help support our seminary Students/families who will be becoming Pastors; and to keep you up to date you will receive a Seminary Newsletter, which will be put in your mailbox. FOOD BANK:  Ladies of Grace delivered a pantry donation to the Seminary on Saturday.  We need to stock up now for Christmas.  We are in need of , nonperishable dried food,  canned food and fruit with easy open lids, were running low. Please drop off non-perishable food, that can be eaten without cooking for homeless (Pull off lids tins), in their original container or wrapping. (Cereal bars, pudding/fruit cups.); We have some can openers and spoons for now.  We support our church members, our Seminary students (1/2) and community.

​WANTED, BUY AND SALE:   A member is looking to rent a room or basement appt in Oshawa, south Durham area.  See Office if you can help out.  Blessings.
