Welcome in the name of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. If you are visiting, we are glad that you are here and kindly ask that you sign our guest book at the sanctuary doors. If you would like to become a member please speak to the Pastor. In case of illness, the Pastor should be informed. He will always be glad to speak with those who are confronted with problems of a spiritual nature. The time before worship is a quiet time for prayer and meditation to prepare for worship. Please see the inside cover of the hymnal for prayers and page 329f to prepare for Holy Communion. God bless you as we gather before our gracious God!

In Repentance We Are Alert to the Coming of Christ 

The signs of the end are all around us, constant reminders that “heaven and earth will pass away.” But all of these signs are centered in the cross of Christ, whereby He has conquered sin and death, that we might be raised with Him in righteousness through His Word of the Gospel, which “will not pass away” (Mark 13:31). He is “the firstborn of the dead,” who in His great love “has freed us from our sins by his blood” (Rev. 1:5). His salvation is certain because “his dominion is an everlasting dominion” and His Kingdom “shall not be destroyed” (Dan. 7:14). For this purpose He came into the world, to reign in love through His voice of the Gospel, which is the truth (John 18:37). So is the righteousness of Christ “a light to the peoples,” which “will never be dismayed” because it is the justice of His cross and resurrection (Is. 51:4–6). As He “is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory,” so wait upon “the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life” (Jude 20–24).

MEMORY CHRISTMAS TREE:  There is only 31 days to Christmas!!

We will be continuing with our memory tree again this year, in the front entrance.  Once the Tree is setup; Please bring in an ornament or you can use our ornaments to put the name and year passing of a loved one. All last years will be put back on the Tree on Wednesday November 20th @ 11:00 am; (weather permitting) volunteers to help contact Office; Bring a small serving to share in fellowship afterward for lunch. ST. VINCENT DE PAUL: Is collecting gently used hats, mittens, scarves, socks & other warm clothing, for needs this winter. These will be used for their Christmas Hamper Program. Please have to me by December 18th , I will deliver them.

QUILTING: Every Tuesday @start 9:00- 9:30 am – 11 am +. All are welcome, no experience necessary, we do tie quilting. Last day of quilting is December 10th.  First Tuesday back January 7th, 2025. Come and try it out! Bring a friend. Blessings

FOOD BANK:  Ladies of Grace delivered a pantry donation to the Seminary on Saturday.  We need to stock up now for Christmas.  We are in need of, nonperishable dried food, canned food and fruit with easy open lids, were running low. Please drop off non-perishable food, that can be eaten without cooking for homeless (Pull off lids tins), in their original container or wrapping. (Cereal bars, pudding/fruit cups.); We have some can openers and spoons for now.  We support our church members, our Seminary students (1/2) and community.

WANTED, BUY AND SALE:   A member is looking to rent a room or basement appt in Oshawa, south Durham area. If you know of anyone or place. See me in the Office if you can help out.  Blessings.​
