If you would like to become a member please speak to the Pastor. In case of illness, the Pastor should be informed. He will always be glad to speak with those who are confronted with problems of a spiritual nature. The time before worship is a quiet time for prayer and meditation to prepare for worship. As the Son of God Is Merciful and Forgives Your Sins, You Also Be Merciful and Forgive 

Your inheritance as a child of Adam is sin and death, but in Christ you are made alive through His resurrection from the dead (1 Cor. 15:21–22). As you have died with Him in Holy Baptism, so are you raised with Him to newness of life. Therefore, “do not go on sinning” (1 Cor. 15:34). Instead of serving your desires and harming your neighbors, live as “sons of the Most High,” and “be merciful, even as your Father is merciful” (Luke 6:35–36). Deal with others as you would have others deal with you (Luke 6:31, 37–38). As Christ loved you when you were at enmity with Him, as He blessed and prayed for those who abused Him, and as He did good to those who hated Him and hurt Him, so also “love your enemies, do good” (Luke 6:27–29, 35). For God sent His Son to bear the cross and suffer death, not to condemn the guilty, but “to preserve life.” So does He provide a place for you within His Church, where He is near and deals kindly with “you and your children and your children’s children” (Gen. 45:5–10)

Frank Morgret-Resident Pastoral Advisor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity in Sainte-Foy (Quebec City).     Rev. Razafy Razandrakoto-  pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Reconciliation in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Rev. David Milette -pastor of l’Eìglise lutheìrienne du Bon Berger (Good Shepherd Lutheran Church) in Moncton, New Brunswick. He also provides support for LCC's French Ministries

WANTED ITEMS: Gentlemen are you cleaning out your closet? Out with the old? Don't forget the MWM men’s clothing drive. I am collecting men’s clean used and new clothes for the migrant agricultural workers that work in Clarington. I will deliver all the donations to their Hub in Orono. Migrant Worker Ministry also accepts donations of shoes, boots, socks, under garments, hats/toques and newer used suitcases. On going mission. Thanks for considering to help. ASSISTANCE REQUIRED: A member has an immediate need to temporarily rent a room or basement appt. in Durham area. $600-$800max. If you know of anyone who might be able to assist or offer financial assistance please contact the Office. Pray for a quick placement for her.  She is on a waiting list for housing. Blessings

 

LAST DAY, NEED 20 PEOPLE. Easter season is approaching:  And Ladies of Grace are willing to host Shrove Tuesday on March 4th, if we have commitment of 10+ individuals that wish to attend.  Please sign up for donating food items, helping setup/cleanup and attendance.  Pancake mix and sausages, fruit, coffee, cream, milk and juice. We look forward to gathering for our Lent Fellowship. See signup board on whiteboard in the narthex.
